The Chase star Darragh Ennis was forced to step in and have his say after co-star Jenny Ryan was beaten tonight.
The Menace posted a string of social media messages after the Vixen was overcome by four Chase contestants.
After the team’s jackpot win, Bradley Walsh said: “Well played, brilliant, £20,000 smackers, absolutely sensational.”
He added: “Chaser, great match by the way great match.”
Jenny Ryan said: “Really well played team, by setting 20 you gave me just a little bit too much to do when I had a couple of mental arithmetic style questions in there.”
It comes after Darragh had tweeted: “Nice final question for the chef and 20k for 3 players is a super team. Jen might have her work cut out here!”
He had earlier said: “£14k for two players is really excellent. If Gary gets back this might be tough for Jen. #TheChase.
“And 3.5 hours to go until we find out what Malcolm the legend is up to on #BeatTheChasers.”
“Well, some clever women on #TheChase this afternoon!” he also tweeted.
“And the team beat the chaser!” one viewer replied.
“Once separated, that’s an unlucky amount” said a second.
“Good game Emma played very well… Well done” said a third.
A fourth wrote: “I’ve never seen Jen or Anne lose!!! XX”
“Emma is as sharp as a tack, great chase,” said another.
“They did it,” wrote another.
The Chase continues to air each and every weekday on ITV1 from 5pm with Bradley hosting each episode.
