A teenager was fighting for his life in hospital tonight, Tuesday, February 9, after police were called to reports of a stabbing.
The 19-year-old suffered “potentially life-threatening injuries” after an incident in Alum Rock Road, Alum Rock, just before 7.10pm on Tuesday, February 9, West Midlands Police said.
Witnesses said officers flooded the scene and cordoned off the area near a fast food restaurant.
A police spokeswoman told BirminghamLive: “We were called to reports of a stabbing on Alum Rock Road, Alum Rock, just before 7.10pm this evening (9 February).
“A 19-year-old man has been taken to hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries.
