Prince Harry ‘brought his own security’ from the US to the Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral, reports claim.
He was met by Scotland Yard protection officers when he landed in UK, reports say.
The Duke of Sussex’s private team flew out with him on a British Airways flight to Heathrow Airport in London
The Telegraph is reporting Harry will be shadowed and guarded as long as he is on British soil.
Harry infamously accused Prince Charles, the Prince of Wales, of “cutting him off” financially during a bomshell interview with Oprah Winfrey.
The Sussexes had their protection axed after Megxit.
But taxpayer-funded officers will accompany Harry during his stay in the UK.
Harry told Oprah: “We didn’t have a plan.
“That was suggested by somebody else by the point of where my family literally cut me off financially, and I had to afford security for us.”
“I’ve got what my mum left me, and without that, we would not have been able to do this.”
He added: “The biggest concern was that while we were in Canada, in someone else’s house, and then I got told short notice that security was going to be removed.
“So suddenly it dawned on me, hang on a second, the borders could be closed, we’re going to have our security removed, who knows how long lockdown is going to be.
“The world knows where we are. It’s not safe. It’s not secure.
“I never thought I would have my security removed, because I was born into this position.”
