Police have issued a warning following a hit-and-run in the Kings Heath area of Birmingham.
Officers said a Ford EcoSport was stolen before it was involved in the hit-and-run involving a pedestrian last night (Friday, May 14).
The car has now been recovered by West Midlands Police.
Forensic examinations will now take place on the vehicle.
Police issued a warning about keyless cars as they alerted the public about the crime.
West Midlands Traffic Police tweeted: “This Ford EcoSport was stolen last night before being involved in a hit-and-run with a pedestrian in Kings Heath.
“After some hunting we found it and it’s now been recovered for forensic examination.
“If you have a car vulnerable to keyless theft please consider extra security.”
