Martin Compston – aka Detective Inspector Steve Arnott in Line of Duty – has built up a substantial amount of assets over his varied career.
The Scottish actor started off life as a professional footballer – first as a youth player and captain for Aberdeen F.C before going on to sign for local team Greenock Morton F.C.
The 36-year-old got into acting aged 17 thanks to a local audition – albeit for a Ken Loach film – when he was still at the football club.
Despite having never acted before, Martin landed the lead in Sweet Sixteen and won Most Promising Newcomer at the British Independent Film Awards for the role.
Since then he’s gone on to star in many TV shows and films, including Monarch of the Glen, Damned United, The Nest, and of course Line of Duty.
And with a long career treading the boards, he’s made himself enough to buy a nice house in Las Vegas with wife Tianna and their child, complete with solar-heated swimming pool and spa and a bar.
According to Celebrity Net Worth, Martin Compston has a net worth of around $5 million or £3.5million.
Martin was born in Greenock, Inverclyde, Scotland.
