Lawrence Okolie was forced to step in and respond to Good Morning Britain viewers today – after they noticed a baffling feature of his home.
The boxer was on the ITV1 daytime TV favourite chatting to Adil Ray on Wednesday April 14.
Okolie, a cruiserweight boxer signed to Matchroom, was on the show discussing his journey from McDonald’s to the Olympics.
The boxer was working in Victoria Station’s branch of the fast food giant when Anthony Joshua’s Olympics journey inspired him.
But during his interview, viewers at home who were tuning in were left baffled by his clock being 10 minutes too fast.
One fan wrote: “why is Lawrence Okolie ‘s clock 10 minutes fast?”
“Yes we all know his clock is fast. Do you think he hasn’t got a reason for this and doesn’t know!?” asked a second.
A third commented: “You need to change your clock.”
“His clock is 10 mins fast or this ain’t live,” said another.
“why is the boxers clock showing the wrong time ?” asked another.
Another remarked: “TV Of the Future right there…
“why is it 8.21 in Lawrence’s’ Bedroom clock on LIVE TV??”
“His clock is 10 minutes fast #GMB,” said another.
“is like me, has his clock 10 minutes fast,” said another.
Another commented: “I think lawrences clock a bit fast.”
Lawrence duly replied, saying: “Good eye.”
He accompanied the response with a ‘Rolling on the floor laughing’ emoji.
Good Morning Britain continues to air each and every weekday from 6am on ITV1.
