A man was found dead at a Walsall home – sparking a police investigation.
The 51-year-old, who has not been named, was found collapsed at the property in Broad Lane, Bloxwich.
Police gained entry to the address at around 10.15am on Monday, May 24, after neighbours raised concerns for his welfare.
Unfortunately, there was nothing that could be done to save him and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
His death is currently being treated as unexplained.
West Midlands Police has sealed off the property for a forensic examination and enquiries are under way.
Detective Inspector Laura Harrison said: “At this stage the man’s death is being treated as unexplained and we’ve launched an investigation to understand what’s happened.”
She continued: “If anyone saw or heard anything suspicious last night or this morning in the area I would urge them to get in touch.”

Forensic officers have been at the the scene ‘for most of the day’, eyewitnesses told BlackCountryLive.
