EuroMillions winner claims huge £122 million – the fifth biggest jackpot in the UK

A massively lucky EuroMillions winner is celebrating after winning £122 million tonight.

The winner, who is remaining anonymous, has become the UK’s fifth biggest winner of the National Lottery prize.

The winning numbers tonight were: 21, 47, 04, 40, 34. The Lucky Stars are: 02, 05.

Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor said: “What brilliant news, one UK winner has scooped tonight’s massive £122M EuroMillions jackpot and they are now the fifth biggest ever National Lottery winner!

“This is the second UK EuroMillions jackpot winner this year, after a lucky ticket-holder scooped the £39M jackpot in the draw on New Year’s Day.

“Players are being urged to check their tickets and to give us a call to claim this fantastic prize.”

The lucky winner is the second to win the big prize in the UK this year. That person took home £39 million on New Year’s Day.

Tonight’s winner is yet to claim their prize, Camelot said.

The UK’s highest ever lottery win was in 2019, when £170million was won on the EuroMillions.

Birmingham has seen some big lottery winners in the past.

Brum postcode winners include Dawn and Malcolm Bosworth, who scooped £5.8million in 2015.

Paul and Marie Kibler took home £2.2million a year later.

But there have also been losers.

There was a secret millionaire in Walsall but they’ve now missed their chance to claim the fortune.

A prize fund of £1,000,000 was left unclaimed following a EuroMillions draw on September 18, last year.

The ticket-holder bought their ticket in the borough of Walsall and the deadline for the ticket-holder to claim their prize was at midnight on March 17, 2021.
