The Jonathan Ross Show kicked off tonight with a new series – and lifted the lid on another much-loved show.
Celebrity guests for the first show included actress Daisy May Cooper alongside actor and singer Martin Kemp, comedian Jimmy Carr and Strictly dancer Oti Mabuse.
Daisy won the BAFTA TV Award for best female comedy performance in 2018 for playing Kerry Mucklowe in the BBC Three series This Country, which she co-created and co-wrote with her brother, Charlie.
And she didn’t disappoint fans with her hilarious anecdotes on the show – including one lifting the lid on some details of what it’s like to be on Celebrity Gogglebox.
Talking about her stint on the popular Channel 4 show with her dad, the 34-year-old told Jonathan that producers supply a little crate of goodies for the guests beforehand.
It comes complete with snacks, alcohol – and disastrous consequences.
Daisy said: “He got p***** for the first ten minutes and he was just talking absolute rubbish.”
Despite being “so excited” to be on the show, Daisy revealed he was “absolutely livid” when their part of the show was “cut to two seconds”.
The new series of The Jonathan Ross Show airs on Saturday nights at 10.05pm on BBC One.
